American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine (AAHPM)

AAHPM is the professional organization for physicians specializing in hospice and palliative medicine. AAHPM offers educational programs and products for all physicians to achieve competency in the field.

The Society for Post-Acute and Long-Term Care Medicine (AMDA)

AMDA is the professional association of physicians practicing in the long term care setting, offering professional development including a certificate program, to promote the delivery of quality long term care medicine.

Center to Advance Palliative Care (CAPC)

CAPC provides tools, training, technical assistance, and metrics to build and sustain palliative care in all health care settings.

Center for Medicare & Medicaid Services, Conditions of Participations (CoPs)

CoPs serve as the basis of survey activities for the purpose of determining whether a hospice qualifies for a provider agreement under Medicare or Medicaid. Hospice agencies must meet the applicable CoPs to be able to provide and continue to provide Medicare and Medicaid benefits.

National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization (NHPCO)

NHPCO is the nonprofit membership organization representing hospice and palliative care programs in the US. The organization is committed to improving end of life care and expanding access to hospice care.
